Hudson Yards and SAP join together for an exciting partnership with Sing For Hope, featuring 7 pianos and 1 baby grand!

About the Pianos If ever you played one of the SFH pianos, you know you’re in for a treat! Now put those pianos inside – well taken care of – and you know you’re in for a treat. Please note you need to register for a performance, and hand sanitization is available / advised at the pianos.

The artists were inspired by the art, architecture and experiences of Hudson Yards to create one-of-a-kind designs painted on each piano. Artists for the pianos include, Christopher Spinelli, Danielle Chery, Imani Shanklin Roberts, Gilly Gil Lugo, Irina Sheynfeld, Nick Stavrides, Richela Fabian Morgan (Baby Grand) Annica Lydenberg. After the New Year, all of the pianos will be donated to non-profit and community organizations in underserved areas.

About the USA Venue/Event From December 1st-31st, seven pianos and one Baby Grand piano will be displayed throughout The Shops at Hudson Yards featuring performances by Broadway musicians and The Juilliard School creating a festive atmosphere for visitors. Each piano is decorated by a local artist including Annica Lydenberg of Dirty Bandits, a HyxOffTheWall artist alumn. Hudson Yards visitors can even take to the keys and play a tune!

Schedule a timed performance to ensure the pianos have been cleaned and wiped down for a safe show for all. You are invited to sign up for a socially distanced opportunity to play on the pianos at Hudson Yards!
