With the eyes of the world pointed at Oprah and Windsor these days, we prefer the good news coming from Windsor, California if you don’t mind… 10-12 pianos expected, so piano players: start your engines, heading for Windsor Painted Piano Project 2021 (pandemic permitting)! 🙂

About this USA Venue/Event The Windsor Painted Piano Project is an uplifting art installation that will be featured in Windsor. Located on streets, in public parks, markets, smart train stations and the airport. It invites the public to engage with our town while celebrating a love of music and the visual arts.

Windsor is an incorporated town in Sonoma County, California, United States. The Painted Piano Project is a placeholder name. Although it could be used in the end, it’s still open dor suggestions (to co-organizer Windsor Performing Arts Academy).

About the Organizer This event is a conjunction of Windsor Performing Arts Academy, Mover Over Mozart and the Town of Windsor. As read in the WPAA Mission Statement: “Children are able to access the empowering tools that they already have within themselves when they are encompassed about in an environment that is physically and emotionally safe, nurturing, and educationally rich. Our youth and our community are uplifted and improved when we share our talents and resources and help others develop their own.” Windsor Performing Arts Academy humbly asks you to become a sponsor or else paint a piano for this project, hope you’re willing to consider!

Move Over Mozart or M.O.M. is a program that provides affordable and accessible piano instruction and music theory to students ages 4+ throughout Sonoma County. The Town of Windsor has an excellent civic reputation and image. cares about its customers and strives to work together in the best interests of the Town. The Town is highly regarded, and continuously finds innovative ways to improve the community’s quality of life.
