Heroes (2) – Traveling Piano (US & beyond)

Hello world, my name is Mo,

By WorldPianos Piano Events

Hello world, my name is Mo, I’m the cutie on top of the piano, together with my partner: Piano Man Danny Kean. Other dogs would call him owner, well not me… Ain’t I beautiful?!We’re partners at TravelingPiano.com and together, we’re on our continuous and strictly non-commercial mission.

Before I tell you a bit more about that, let me introduce myself. I’m a Beagle/English-Bulldog mix, walked into Danny’s life in Cherry Run, West Virginia, September 19, 2010, being a five month old puppy at the time. I’d love to say I’m the first Piano Dog at the Traveling Piano, but that wouldn’t honor our 3rd partner in memories, Boner (November 27, 1994 – February 20, 2010).

I’ve heard Danny say so many times he knows that Boner’s soul is still traveling with us. Well I tend to believe him. I felt comfortable on top of that piano from the very start and I’m happy to believe that Boner’s spirit is still with me…

Being a traveling Piano Dog comes with challenges too, you know… To complete our posse, let’s not forget our inseparable 4th partner: a signature red 1987 Toyota pick-up truck. We’ve covered a Zillion Miles together over the years, not to mention a few repairs underway….

Ain’t I beautiful?! walked into Danny’s life Boner (November 27, 1994 – February 20, 2010) Danny and me at Red Rock Canyon (Nevada) – High Point Overlook We often play dawn to dusk or even beyond…. Now back to our mission! Our journey took us from original base Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Mexico and from post-Katrina New Orleans to Alaska.

Having said that, we’ve been called out by local friends more than just once after tragic happenings (school shootings, hurricanes) and celebrations. Most of the times though, we paid unannounced visits to countless Counties and Villages to meet, invite and inspire new communities. Once back in our current base Las Vegas, Nevada, we are mostly working the streets through community outreach in the poorest of neighborhoods to lift spirits and to give attention and care to those that need it most.

As Danny puts it: post-Katrina New Orleans school shootings, hurricanes “the Flight of Peregrinating Musical Exploration, using spontaneity and synchronicity to create music for people to discover, with musical empowerment and inspiration and, without commercial, organizational or political affiliation. The vehicle is called the Traveling Piano.” “the Flight of Peregrinating Musical Exploration, using spontaneity and synchronicity to create music for people to discover, with musical empowerment and inspiration and, without commercial, organizational or political affiliation.

The vehicle is called the Traveling Piano.” Editorial postscript: We’ve been fortunate enough to meet Danny, Mo and dozens of bystanders being welcomed to play the Traveling Piano in our presence. Be so kind – as we did – to support their journey with a small financial contribution. Follow their daily blog and who knows you’ll experience the pleasure they bring to the world, in person. support their journey with a small financial contribution daily blog Stay safe, enjoy playing!
